Twenty percent of everything Tamarisk earns goes straight back to the local church. Ten percent to ours. Ten percent to one of yours. We call it The Shade Fund.
Twenty cents of every dollar Tamarisk brings in — not profit, not whatever's left at the end, but the top of every single sale — is given away to the local church. Ten percent to ours. Ten percent to one of yours.
It comes off the top on purpose. Generosity that only happens “if there's margin” usually doesn't happen at all. So we carve it out first and build everything else around it. Which means the more Tamarisk grows, the more shade gets planted. That's the whole point.
We call it The Shade Fund, after the tree we're named for: Abraham planted a tamarisk knowing he'd never sit in its shade (Genesis 21:33). Giving that outlives you is the most Tamarisk thing there is.

The first 10% goes to our home local church. Not a fund, not an overhead line — an ordinary, on-the-ground body of believers where real discipleship actually happens.
We believe no media ministry replaces the local church; it feeds it. Tamarisk is a feeder, not a finish line. So we put our money where our mouth is, first.
The other 10% is yours to direct. Every month we draw one name at random from our readers, and that month's second tithe goes to the church or Christian ministry they choose.
You don't have to buy anything to be part of it:
Trust is earned in the open. Every month we publish exactly what we gave and where — the amount, the church or ministry, and the first name of the reader who chose it.
No “a portion of proceeds may support charity.” Real dollars, named, every single month. If we ever can't show you where it went, assume we didn't give it.
